Volume 28 Editor’s Welcome

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the Chapman Law Review website!

My name is Taline Ratanjee, and I am honored to serve as the Editor-in-Chief for Volume 28 of the Chapman Law Review, a student-run journal that publishes legal scholarship from law professors, judges, legal professionals, and law students. I am especially excited to work alongside our intelligent and hardworking team of student editors who are committed to promoting an inclusive and diverse publication. Our annual Law Review Symposium, held in the spring, will bring together distinguished scholars to discuss timely legal issues, and we look forward to announcing the 2024 Symposium topic shortly.

This year, we remain dedicated to editing every article with the utmost care and continuing to spotlight novel pieces that advance legal thought. Law reviews are a crucial platform for innovative legal discourse, and it is our goal to cultivate a publication where diversity and compelling scholarly work intersect. We look forward to publishing three major issues highlighting a diverse range of topics and authors.

I extend my gratitude to the Chapman Law faculty and administration for their continuous support and guidance. I am eager to work with our talented students, faculty, and administrators to publish Volume 28 of the Chapman Law Review and further enrich scholarly discussion in the legal community.

Sincerely,

Taline Ratanjee
