Each month, Chapman’s Law Review will be spotlighting one of our second year Staff Editors to recognize their efforts both inside and outside of law school. Our first Staff Editor to be recognized is Yara Wahba.
This past summer, Yara worked at the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office. She was able to learn the ins and outs of criminal prosecution and is very excited to return this coming summer to continue learning how to be an effective advocate through litigation.
Now that classes are in full swing, Yara is very active on campus and has loved getting involved at Chapman. She is the Secretary for Chapman’s Student Bar Association, Volunteer Chair for the Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF), and a student ambassador! Yara is also on the Moot Court, Mock Trial, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) competition teams.
Yara is thankful for all the opportunities that Chapman has given her and is excited to expand those experiences by being on Law Review!
Check back here in November for our next second year Staff Editor spotlight!
